Do you ever look back at old pictures and old videos and just die laughing like it just happened yesterday?

Today was one of those days that I needed a good laugh and nothing better than looking at old funny videos...

Literally in all of these videos was my best friend Kimly! Boy do I miss those days of thinking up crazy things to do and just doing them for the heck of it!!

Sorry for the crazy camera but thats just what you are going to get when filming on a boat!

I still die laughing watching this because I just don't understand how hitting that wave sends me flying backwards yet Kimly doesn't move an inch.

Me and Amanda were doing back flips off the diving board so why not Kimly. As you can tell Kimly has never done a back flip before!

We saw this stunt done on So You Think You Can Dance. So why not try it!! There were many many stunts done on SYTYCD that we tried I just don't think we caught a lot of them on camera!

I sit on Kimlys face so in return she lets me face plant it on the ground! I thought thats what the spotters were there to make sure didn't happen but Trissy and Tiff were a little busy trying not to pee their pants. PS this was done at a bee's game on the field waiting for the fireworks to start. We didn't care one bit what people thought of us! :)

Three days after Berklee got her potty she used it!!

She hasn't since used it so I'm not claiming her to be potty trained but she woke up dry, I asked if she wanted to go pee on the potty she said yes and she did it! I'm not ready to start potty training, I want to get rid of the binky first, but if she wakes up dry or says yes when I ask her if she wants to use it then you betcha I'm gonna have her use it! Love my little girl!

Merry Christmas

I love Christmas!

I love Christmas even more with a kid! We were so lucky to be able to see both our families on Christmas but most of all we were lucky to have our own Christmas morning at home just the three of us.

I knew Berklee is still young enough to not really get Christmas so we didn't want to go overboard with presents but it is just so dang fun shopping for toys! But to be honest I think her favorite present wasn't a toy.. it was her potty! Yes, this girl is obsessed with a potty.

After church, which it was so wonderful to have Christmas land on Sunday this year so we could go to church and remember the real meaning of Christmas, we headed up to Heber to have brunch and Christmas with the Palmers. I think it was about 50 degrees in Heber... ON Christmas! It was heaven. Berklee was spoiled and got some fun things as did me and Jesse.

We let the kiddos nap and the adults played some sweet Rock Band! Boy have I missed that game.

We headed down to my parents later that night for scones and presents for the grandkids. My parents have started a tradition (this year) that we have our adult Christmas party earlier in the week (no kids) so we are able to have a nice dinner, games and presents with no interruptions. And may I just say I love this new tradition. Sadly, I have no pictures from that night but our dinner was yummy and we got a much needed game of CRUD in. Pretty sure some of us left with bruises that night! :)

Berklee loved being with her cousins on Christmas and couldn't get enough of the wrapping paper with her cousin Whitney. These kids are going to be the best of friends.

Time needs to slllooowww down!

When did my baby turn into a toddler?

A cute, spunky, sassy, full of energy toddler?

I can't even begin to describe how much I love being a mom!

This girl is my life!

You know that show 19 kids and counting (well now 20). I can totally see how that woman could have 20 kids. Not that I'm going to do that. But to have 20 kids to love as much as I love my one little girl is amazing! I'm so grateful for my Heavenly Father for giving me such a wonderful gift of being a mom.

I know maybe I've promised other people that Berklee could marry their son but I've got to

We've been singing this song to Berklee for a while now and all she knew to do was the hand motions when we say "popcorn popping on the apricot tree". The first time she did "I can take a handful and make a treat a popcorn ball that would smell so sweet" and "it wasn't really so but it seemed to be" I about fell off the couch I was laughing so hard! It was THEE cutest thing ever.. and when she says the word "so" and her cute little mouth goes to the side.. I DIE!! I love this girl so much and I just can't believe what a little smarty she is!

I still need to capture the moment Berklee first spots her cousins but man oh man do things get crazy when they are together!

Ryder and Berklee are just over a year apart in age.

Berklee has this high and I mean HIGH pitch scream.. not an angry scream, more of a "I'm so happy right now all I can think to do is SCREEEAM scream!" Well before I took this video it was Berklee screaming every time she came out from the couch... which got a huge reaction for all the adults watching. So then Whitney caught onto it... So can you imagine.. 2 girly girls screaming a very VERY high pitch scream! No? Well here you go...

My family has decided to take turns having a boys weekend and a girls weekend. Us girls decided to let the boys go first! :) awh how nice are we!

My brother Cade sent all the boys an itinerary of what there weekend was going to look like. Literally I think a 5 page text. I wish I would have saved it and been able to remember it. Pretty much every second of every day was planned out.. I don't think they even got to every plan because there wasn't enough time. Here's their trip via picture.

36 holes in golf. (They wish they could have done this every second)

And of course.. church! Look at all those tired eyes!

They all stayed up way to late watching movies.

Played golf as much as possible.

Ate out EVERY meal. (on the itinerary but didn't exactly happen)

Pickleball.

Argued about EVERYTHING.

Teased Jesse.

And laughed lots!

Oh how I love these baby words. Berklee is such a jibber jabber. I love listening to her in the car talking to herself and when she wakes up from naps or nighttime.. its like she has an imaginary friend there talking to her the way she will say something and then burst into laughter! I feel like I'm beginning to try to understand her lingo but sometimes all I can do is stare at her and laugh because I have no idea what just came out of her mouth and she looks as though I'm the crazy one that can't tell what she's saying. She is so polite and will always ask please and then always and I mean always will say thanks when she is given something. Even by someone she doesn't know and it always takes people back when this sweet little baby will all the sudden say "shanks"! Its the cutest thing! Boy I love this girl and can't wait to hear more that will come out of her cute little mouth!

Evelyn Argyle Winegar 1922 ~ 2011 BOUNTIFUL- Our dearest Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother quietly passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the age of 89 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Evelyn was born March 7, 1922 to Thomas M. Argyle and Mary Jane Corbett. She married her sweetheart, Stuart M. Winegar on August 13, 1941. They will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary together after being separated in death by only 19 days. Spunky and full of life, she was an Instigator, an "Idea Person." She planted many seeds that developed into full-blown inception. Though she took a supporting role, she was the backbone of the family business, Winegar's Supermarkets, Inc. Happiest when serving others, she took many souls under her wing, inviting many into her home for long periods of time. The recipients of her generosity and loving nature are spread throughout the world. Not the least of these was her beloved grandchildren. She took great delight in them, showering her affections upon them with sleepover's and birthday parties. She was the Hostess with the Mostess! She will be sorely missed by them all. Active in the LDS church, she served in many capacities, including twice as Relief Society President. She served a mission with her husband, Stuart, to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Preceded in death by her husband, Stuart; her parents; brothers, Doug Argyle and Clarence Argyle; grandson, Zachary Winegar; and two great-grandchildren, River McQueen and Jaycee Winegar. She is survived by a sister, Jane Page; a brother, Dean Argyle (Larue); and children, Sally Barber (Phil), Dee (Gail), Dirk (Linda), Bill (Barbara), and Rock (Susanne); 29 adoring grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; and four great-great-grand-children.

What an amazing, amazing Grandma I had! I will always remember her spunk, strength and laughter. I have so many memories of my Grandma growing up, she loved each and every one of us so much. I loved her kisses and hugs every time we saw her. I loved her stories. I can't wait to see my Grandma again. To hear that laugh again :) She joined my Grandpa 19 days after he had passed and I know they are so happy together forever now!

Bear Lake

Bear Lake has a special place in my heart now, seeing as it was the reason I met Jesse.

My family had our family vacation this year up in Bear Lake and I couldn't of been happier about it! The water is so blue, so warm and SO much fun! I was sore for days after because of a little game me and my SIL's made up on the wave runners.. "Hold on for dear life" is what we should call it!

Berklee loved the water! The first night we just wanted to go down and throw some rocks into the lake.. oh no, Berklee walked right in!

Fun in the sun, sand and water!

She probably sat there for a good 5 min. trying to get every grain of sand out of her toes... saying over and over again "uh oh", "uh oh", "uh oh"!

We hit up the park at night and got the energy that was left in our kids out for the night. Boy do kids love slides and swings! :)

And while the girls and Grandma and Grandpa were with the kids at the slides our hubby's were deep in conversation with one another.. hahaha what girls right?

We had such a fabulous weekend!! Thank you to my parents for making it all happen! We definitely took away many many memories and I'm sure we all gain a few pounds from the many raspberry shakes we HAD to go get in our Mazerati.

Stuart M. Winegar
1918-2011

Our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away peacefully on July 21, 2011 at the age of 93.

Stuart was born February 18, 1918 to Thomas E. Winegar and Vilate Muir. It was said that he was born in a Corn Flake box, as his parents ran the mercantile co-op in West Bountiful, T. E. Winegar and Sons, where he began his career.

He married Evelyn Argyle on August 13, 1941. Over the next 70 years they taught their children honesty and integrity and instilled in each of them a hard work ethic.

He loved his country and joined the Army Air Corp in 1943 where he served served for four years.

After returning home he and his family opened the flagship grocery store Winegar’s Supermarket on Highway 91 in Bountiful.

He was active in the LDS church and served two missions, the first in Hawaii as a young man in 1937; the second later with his wife, Evelyn in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He was a founding member of Associated Food Stores and served on the Utah Retail Grocers Association as a board member and also as its president.

He was proud of the fact that at age 93 he was able to renew his drivers license even without glasses. He had a delightful sense of humor and would come alive with a microphone in his hand in front of a crowd. He was famous among his 29 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren for his hilarious rendition of Hard to be Humble. He could always remember each of their names and would recite them each night as he lay in bed. He was an important part of their lives. He left a legacy of love and devotion.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Luraine Lee and Jean Bangerter, his grandson, Zachary Winegar, and two great grandchildren, River McQueen and Jaycee Winegar.

He has two surviving brothers, Dick and Wayne. He is survived by his wife Evelyn and children: Sally Barber (Phil), Dee (Gail), Dirk (Linda), Bill (Barbara) and Rock (Susanne), and his grandchildren.

Oh how I'm going to miss my Grandpa. His stories, wisdom, laugh, hugs and kisses. He was such a special person in my life and I am thankful everyday for him! I can't wait to see him again. He has had a very special reunion with his parents which he hasn't seen his dad in 50 years and his mom in 30! I love you Grandpa!

How fun are 15 month olds!

Berklee's walking has turned into running, her jabbering is starting to turn into little words and her little personality is coming out more and more.

She is one stubborn, loving, happy, energetic, teasing, playful 15 month old.

Our days are mostly spent outside. I'm sure we spend at least 3-4 days at the pool where Berklee isn't so much a fish as she was last year but she more loves to run around the pool throwing balls into whoever may be swimming. I hope next year she'll turn back into my little fish!

We love summer around here. The sun, the bbq's, the swimming.. Berklee loves her some summer corn too!

She has all 4 front teeth on top and all 4 on bottom and is beginning to get those molars.

Amazing all the things she can still eat with only her 8 front teeth!

Berklee still loves all food and I couldn't be happier about it. I know the time is coming that she is going to refuse food and only eat crackers, so I'm soaking it all in while I can.

Berklee found her favorite movie... Tangled!

And this is where she likes to sit while she watches it...

She is also our little climber. She likes to use her "chair" to climb onto the couch and then proceed to climb higher and higher...

Still sleeps 12+ hours at night with one wonderful 3 hour nap during the day.

She got 3 shots at the doctor plus had to get her blood drawn for led and iron. So sad!

14 months

Our little Berklee is 14 months old!

She is learning and growing everyday and it is so fun as a parent to see the things she picks up on and mimics!

- She's now (and has been) officially walking all by herself for about a month now and can I just tell you I LOVE IT! She is the cutest little walker I have ever seen!! I call her our little puppy cause she will just follow us everywhere around the house!

- She absolutely loves her animals sounds. She will tell you what a puppy, kitty, monkey, pig, horse, lion, bear, snake, sheep and bird say. SO cute!

- She also is learning more and more signs.. she now knows outside, shoes, hat, wind and rain.

- She loves showing you where her hair, nose, eyes, toes, fingers, teeth and belly button are.

- She loves when Grandpa Winegar chases her with his loud growl noises as she runs back and forth between two people like they are her safety!

- She loves waving hi to strangers at the mall and loves waving bye bye to anyone or anything we are saying bye to. Every morning (or after nap) we pick her up and have her throw her binky back into bed telling it we will be back when its nap (or night) time and she always waves bye bye to her binky! haha

- She will say a few teeny tiny words. She loves to say TAAA DAAAAA!! Learned that one very quickly due to the fact I would say it every time she would stand up and start walking.

-She loves trying to say all done which turns into sounding like AAA DAAAA! The done is dragged out for a while.

- She of course knows UH OH! Which is used a lot cause she thinks its the funniest thing to drop something and for mom or dad to pick it up for her.

- One of my new favorites is Grandma and Grandpa... Both are more like AA MA and AA PA! But she makes sure to have the two distinct words cause she hears us say Grand(pause)Ma and Grand(pause)Pa!

- She also loves teasing people.. hmmm where did she get that from??? She loves to make them think she's going to share her food/toys but then right when they go to get it from her she pulls it in so fast and close to her with a HUGE grin on her face!

- She loves making silly faces on windows and doors.. and people on the other side loves seeing her silly faces!

Boy do we love this little spunky girl! She has such a fun easy going personality! We were really so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter! Lets just hope all our kids are like this (and no that's not an announcement) :)

I'm pretty sure Crew and Tessa had this coming home on Mothers Day planned from the beginning! These two little munchkins have done wonderfully and are home safe and sound! All are adjusting to being home beautifully! You couldn't ask for better parents to take care of these little miracles!

Last I heard Crew is over 8 pounds and Tessa over 7!!!

They truly are little miracles and have come so far... looking back at that first post I can't even believe what they've (and Cade&Tiff) had to go thru! They are all fighters!

I love them so so so so sooo much and am grateful everyday that I get to call them my niece and nephew!!!!!!!!!

Spring in St George is perfect!

My parents have recently purchased a home down south that is absolutely perfect! Swimming pool, tennis courts, a path right out our back door that leads over to the most perfect park! I have been in heaven this past week! I was able to go down last sunday to help my mom and SIL Ashley clean this newly purchased home... but along the way we were able to get out of the house, walk over to the park, lay out and let our babies feel the sun! I was so excited to put Berklee is shorts I couldn't even stand it.. baby legs are SO cute!

I know her face doesn't really look like she loves the swings but I promise she does!

Berklee and Ryder are seriously two peas in a pod! They love each other and Ryder is just the sweetest boy ever! All he wanted to do is help Berklee walk.. he is going to be the best big brother one day!

Sadly I didn't get tons of picture.. but there are going to be many many more memories happening at this place!

Sunday-Wednesday my trip was with my mom and Ash with kids and Thursday night came and it was the adults turn. Thursday-Sunday was spent with Jesse and I and our friends Mitch and Rozalynn. Thanks to Chase and Ashley for watching Berklee we were able to hike, swim, lay out, temple, dinner, movie, sleep in and on Saturday we went to Vegas for some shopping and saw Mystere! It.Was.Amazing!! I highly recommend to anyone to see it!

The hike we went on is call Red Cliffs and I love it! I've gone there as a child many many times so I was excited to have Jesse come with me.

It was so beautiful and the water was full enough for us to jump in the ponds. Which were, by the way, FAAAREEEZZINGGGG!!!!!!! But me and Roz were so glad we did it.. we didn't want the boys to be the only ones!

I love Vegas at night! I love the lights, I love the water show at the Bellagio, I love people watching.. and what better place than Vegas to people watch!... Speaking of people watching.. check out this video I took of this girl dancing for a camera (not even singing the words to the song that was so loudly playing.. she was lip syncing a Jay-Z song) I asked them after if they were shooting a music video and the guy said kinda.. we are shooting a clip for a commercial for our Accounting Firm.. WHAT? an Accounting Firm? With a Jay-Z song? whatev... weirdos!

Our main reason for Vegas was the Cirque du Soleil show Mystere. I was so excited because this was my first show in Vegas and let me tell you I was not disappointed! My next show I hope to see is "O" at the Bellagio.

I can't even believe it.. our Berklee is one!

Berklee has brought so much joy into our house I don't know how we even lived without her before. She has such a funny personality and is seriously the happiest girl in town! We love her more and more everyday and are so grateful for her.

Her birthday was absolutely perfect! 70 degree weather, family surrounding her and an outside birthday party where she got so spoiled! (thank you family and friends)

If you can't tell already by past pictures, Berklee loves her food! So when I thought about her cupcake being put down her front of her I was a little worried she was going to pick up the whole thing and shove it in her mouth. Oh was I wrong, this girl pick up some manners on her birthday and took one crumb at a time. I finally had to push her hand in it to see if that would spark anything... but no, she just continue to pick up all the small crumbs. Funny girl! Until I wasn't looking and she shoved a huge piece in her mouth... there's my girl!

Some fun things Berklee has learned and does:

- Still looooves sleeping. Sleeps on average 12-13 hrs. at night. But is now down to one nap a day (a 3-4 hr. nap so I'm not complaining)

- Has finally gotten some teeth. 4 bottom and her left canine is out and her other canine is just about ready to poke through

- Loves giving kisses and blowing kisses

- Has learned and will tell you what a monkey says

- Love love loves books. She will bring one after another for you to read.

- Can show you where her nose is

- Is taking more and more steps everyday... I'd really appreciate if she'd learn to walk already cause I don't know if my back can take bending over to hold her hands any longer

- Knows mama and dada and I'm pretty sure when she screams MAMAMAMAMAMAMA she is meaning Grandma

- Can sign eat/food, milk, all done, baby, more and sleep

- Has some loud screams when she is excited or you're chasing her

- Learned how to go up stairs... still working on going down (this girl just turns face forward and dives off the stairs.. I have to be careful)

- Loves to try and jump jump jump

- She will mimic anything you do.. cough, laugh, sneeze, burp, clap, yell, talk on the phone, brush her hair/teeth etc.

- Gets to share her birthday with her cousin Oliver

-Love the slide at the park and has no fear

- And finally, getting a little better with the whole stranger danger thing (even though they are family members who are trying to hold her.. not strangers)

Berklee is still our tall big girl and we love it! I just love spending every second with her and am seriously so grateful for Jesse and how hard he works so that that is possible for me. I mean who wouldn't love that boy.. he's hilarious and sweet as can be! He entertains her, he crawls around on the floor with her, he'll dance with her, he looks out for her. But I think one of the reasons they love each other as much as they do is because both of them love giving kisses... and they love giving kisses to each other! You ask either of them for a kiss and they are right there puckering up! Well and most the time Ryder doesn't ask Berklee for a kiss.. she just leans right in and gives it to him!

All I can do is laugh when they do it because Ryder has at least learned how to close his mouth when he gives kisses but not Berklee.. she still has the wide open tongue sticking out kiss going and it is just hilarious!!!

We love you Ry-deery! Thanks for puttin up with a bit of tongue!

Growing up with all brothers all I ever wanted was a sister. Now I have thee best sisters in the entire world!

Ashley is one of the most generous, loving, happy, kind hearted girls I've ever met. Also one of the smartest! We joke all the time that she comes at us with these facts about things that no one should just know off the top of their head.. but she does!

I love the bond that me and Ashley have come to have! Its like we've been sisters our whole life. I can talk to her about anything and everything (and I do). I'm so grateful to have her in my life and love her to pieces!

She's also the best mom in town to the cutest little boy I've ever seen!

When did this happen!

I have a couple really close friends that are leaving Utah for a while for either jobs or school. When did we grow up enough to move away from Utah and have big people jobs or start medical school?? I will miss these girls like crazy but they are so supportive of their husbands and know that what they are doing is the best thing for them!

Swa (Sarah Jane) is so sweet.. I doubt there is a mean bone in her body! She is so patient, loving, the craftiest girl I know, great mother, wife and sister! She is so fun to be around and always has a fun game up her sleeve to play!

Happy Birthday Tiffany!

I can't even begin to tell all the stories me and this girl have together! Tiff is one of thee funnest, nicest, caring, beautiful, crazy, down to earth girls I have ever met! She was so meant to be my sister and I am so glad that her and my brother found each other! I'm pretty spoiled to have such an amazing sister-in-law. We have so much fun together and you can always count on Tiff to make anything a good time! I love you Tiff and am so glad I get you as my sister!

This has been quite the year for her... finding out she's pregnant... then finding out its TWINS... then having those twins 16 weeks early! She is such an amazing mom to those two little ones! They are SO stinkin cute and just keep getting cuter every time I see them!

Big brother Crew is now 2 lbs 7 oz with cheeks to show it! He looks like Cade with a cute dimple in his chin (a Winegar thing) and seems to be sporting some pretty light brown maybe even blondish hair! :) He is now off CPAP (even though in these pics he still has it) and on high flow oxygen through his nose! He is a stud and I just love him to pieces!

Little sis Tessa is right behind Crew weighing in at 2 lbs 4 oz with a long skinny body and dark hair like her mommy! She has been on high flow oxygen and doing fabulous on it! They sometimes have to turn down her oxygen cuz she's doing so well breathing on her own! This girl loves her binky and loves to strrrreeetch!!!! I could sit and watch her (well both of them) all day long if I was allowed. I love you Tessa!

Berklee has been army crawling for a while but just gets so dang frustrated that she can't get where she wants to fast enough. Hopefully her new skill will make her a bit happier!

Really? 9 months! Where does the time go!

Boy do I love this goober! She is such a fun baby.. honestly I don't know how we got so lucky!

-She still love love loves bath time as you can tell.

-She is walking with her walker all over the place (still no crawling yet.. I think she may just go straight to walking who knows tho)

-She has finally got picking up food and putting it into her mouth down (don't know why that took so long... everything else goes straight to her mouth when she picks it up)

-Starting to get a little bit better with stranger danger (its more the shy turn away smile now)

-Still growing like a weed

-Sleeps 8-8:30pm to 8:30-9am with 2 FABULOUS naps during the day

-Loves her Grandma's & Grandpa's

-Looooves watching her cousins run around and play (probably dying to start running around with them)

-Loves saying dada and mama (don't think she knows she's saying our names but hey its cute)

-Still no teeth but I still like to blame her cranky days on teething :)

first christmas

Our first CHRISTMAS with the three of us was

so wonderful and so busy!

Berklee did not like the fact that I wanted a picture first thing when she woke up haha

We were able to have a Christmas morning just our family and then we headed up to my families for brunch/talking to Elder Winegar/games/presents and then headed to Jesse's grandparents to have Christmas with his side!

It is definitely true what they say about Christmas being more fun when you have kids. Berklee absolutely loved the wrapping paper and she could have torn that apart all day long and be totally content!

Being able to be with both our families was great and we are so grateful to both our parents that are there to support and love us! We got lots of fun things but one of the most amazing gifts I got was from my mom, she had taken time to get pictures of Berklee, me, her, my grandma, my great grandma and my great great grandma around the time we were 20 (except for Berklee of course) and get them in this amazing picture frame. It is so cool to see all of my grandmas and mom around my same age!

We were also able to spend time with our extended family at Christmas parties which are always fun and such a great time to see each other. I didn't take lots of pictures at most Christmas parties but I was able to get a few pictures of the game we played with my mom's side.

Ever heard of Minute to Win It? Well we've played a few games with just my family but we decided this year to have my mom's whole side of the family join in. It was so much fun for the kids AND adults!

Happy Birthday Twiners!

My brother Cade and sister in law Tiffany gave birth to my beautiful niece and nephew on 12/10/10!

They were born at 23 weeks and 5 days.. 16 weeks and 2 days early!

Baby boy Crew came first and weighed in at 1 lb 9 oz followed by sweet baby girl Tessa at 1 lb 4 oz. Cade told us Crew yelled at them after he was delivered and was trying to breath on his own. :) They were able to get breathing tubes in both and they say Tessa is a little feisty one and keeps trying to breath on her own even though they are doing it for her! (relax little girl) They are thee most perfect little babies I have ever seen! Every little thing about them is just amazing. What a miracle they are. They still have a long fight ahead of them and we just pray that they will keep fighting!

We are praying for them and their parents! It is a very difficult time for everyone!

We love you twiners, welcome to our amazing loving family! Everyone loves you so much!

yes, you read it right, walking!!

that is all and I mean all she wants to do the moment she wakes up until its time to take her nap and then back to walking when she wakes up and the cycle goes on and on and on until its time for bed at 8:30 and both mom and dad are exhausted! :)

I love seeing her face the second she pops up off the ground, its an immediate grin from ear to ear! We wanted to get a little video of when we walk with her and then set her down because she usually starts crying and holding her arms up for us to come give her our fingers but its hilarious in this video because she just goes straight to her next favorite thing...

she has started moving her arms/hands up and down when we sing patty cake to her and then she's recently puts her arms clear above her head for when we sing "throw it in the oven for baby and me".

I have just loved watching Berklee learn new things, she is such a smart little thing! And again I am just so grateful for my amazing husband, he works so hard for us so that I am able to be home with our sweet girl! Being a mom is the best!

This is a little late... but better late than never I guess!

Berklee is 7 months old!

I have absolutely enjoy every second with this girl.

I love seeing her smiling face every morning.

I love seeing her grow.

I love watching her learn new things.

I love watching her face when she's concentrating so hard on doing something.

I love watching her little hands and fingers grab things.

I love watching her try so very hard to crawl.

I love seeing her different expressions

I love watching her when her daddy walks in the door.

I love when she gives us kisses, wide open mouth and everything.

I love that she loves food.

I love that she loves her family.

I love when she sleeps.

I love her laugh.

I love her cry.

I love her.

Sometimes I wish we had a way to understand what is going on in baby's minds. Like when I watch Berklee stare at something and you can just see that the wheels are turning inside but I just wonder what exactly she is thinking. I just hope that she knows how much me and Jesse love her. Every night when I put her to bed I look at her and wonder what I ever did without her. I am so grateful for my little family and am so so grateful for how hard Jesse works for our family so that I am able to stay home with my little girl.

Some fun things Berklee has learned and done over the past month:

-Learned to give kisses (I still need to get a pic of this)

-says da da da da da

-turns round and round and round on her tummy

-still rolls around constantly

-will be sitting and wants to get to her tummy so she just face plants it (with no tears usually)

-loves visiting the cute baby in the mirror and giving her kisses

-still loves her very loud high pitched voice

-she's learned to fall asleep without getting rocked to sleep (hallelujah)

-learned that she is getting a boy and a girl cousin from her Aunt Tiff and Uncle Cade

-learned to do funny noises.. I don't know exactly how to put them in words cuz they're not words so you'll just have to watch the video :)

One of my many favorite shows

So You Think You Can Dance!

This is my second time seeing the SYTYCD tour! Last year my mom got me tickets for my birthday and just her and I went and so this year we thought we'd invite all the girls! Tiff and Sarah Jane hadn't ever seen the show before but we knew exactly how to get them hooked! They are going to be avid watchers now! :)

We of course started out the night by going to Tepenyaki steak house (if you haven't been there I HIGHLY recommend it) and then we raced to get to the show!

Don't ask me how you don't notice that Tiff was in our group she was sitting RIGHT next to Ashley! Weird waitress lady.. but don't worry we had the lady at our table take another!!!

So we show up to our 12TH ROW seats to find that someone is already sitting in them and they proceed to tell us that they over booked a lot of seats and that we were like the 14th people to come and tell them that these were there seats! SO BUMMED! So we moved back and still had a wonderful time but still... how do your over sell tickets!!!!

afraid of the dark

Just a little fact about me:

I am so scared of the dark!

Ya know how most girls have the fear of spiders or heights or something like that.. yeah mine is the dark! And not just the when your little scared of the dark. I truly hate it! I get that wrenching feeling in my stomach, my heart starts to race and I start to get all hot! ew just thinking about it... ugh! I hate being outside in the dark I hate being inside.. no good can come from darkness!!!

Jesse left early, like in the middle of the night early, tuesday for his deer hunt. It probably took me an hour to go back to bed after he left and last night it took me til 1 in the morning to actually want to go down to bed, and even after I did I go to bed I slept with my lamp on, and the hall light on with my sheets pulled up far enough to cover my ears!! (not that it really made me not hear the noises) Every little sound would just freak me out! Now Jesse knows I have this fear because even when he's here I wake him up so he can listen to a sound with me and tell me if its someone in the house! I know what am I 10? I have been scared of the dark forever... but he still leaves me! :(

When I was single I would fall asleep to a movie every single night! But after getting married that was one thing I had to work on and let me tell you I am still working on it! Some nights I just wish we had a tv in our room! I love love love falling asleep to a movie or to the tv.. it drowns out all the other sounds that may happen!

anyways... I sure do hate when Jesse's gone! He makes it so much easier to sleep at night! I was very very tempted to go get Berklee last night and put her next to me in bed... but what would that have done? Woken her up (probably), and with her noises she makes at night she probably would have woken me up numerous of times in the night (making me have to listen to noises in the house trying to fall back asleep)... good thing I didn't go get her!

Wish me a better nights sleep tonight!

jazz, birthdays and halloween!

What a busy month October has been... I can't even believe its over

first off jazz season begins baby!!

As most of you know my family are huge fans of the Jazz! Now so far we haven't started out great but we still support and still hope for the best! :) I love our family jazz parties! We have done these for as long as I can remember...

Berklee and Ryder sure do love each other! Ryder loves giving kisses and Berklee can't take her eyes off him when he's in the room!

My dad's birthday is actually Nov. 4th but we got together for his birthday on Halloween this year so we could have most everyone there to celebrate his birthday and have our kids together in the cute costumes!

Everytime we have a birthday in the family we go around the room and everyone gets to share one thing (which usually turns into 3 or 4 or 5 things) that we love about that person! Honestly we could all go on forever about my dad! He is such an amazing dad, husband, grandpa, advice giver, provider, worker and so so so much more! I love you daddy! I'm glad we could all be here to celebrate your birthday!

Halloween...

Friday night we attended our ward Halloween party! It was so much fun to go and meet new people and to be with friends in our ward! I didn't get many pics but this one had to be taken.. This little (big) boy is a month younger than Berklee but he sure is a chunk... I feel that if Berklee wasn't as tall as she is this is how chunky she'd be. I love it!

Saturday night was spent with Jesse's parents and younger brother and sister (Joseph and Cailtin) and we attended their ward Halloween party. We had yummy chili and Joseph was in charge of a game that we had fun playing and then we headed back to his parents and relaxed around the fire and watch the Utah Utes win! go utes! (Jesse's family are huge

BYU fans.. so it was fun for me and Berklee to see the utes win)! :)

I thought I was going to be able to wait till I got all of Berklee's photos back to post... but I just can't help it! This first batch of photos are to die for!!! My amazing talented friend Trissy took all of these shots (a few weeks ago at my house) plus this past weekend took some outside shots (that I haven't gotten yet) and she soon will be taking our family pictures! She is just starting to get into the photography business and she has very reasonable prices (if anyone is interested go to her blog that I linked on her name or ask me about it and I'll give ya some info)!

Like I said... I couldn't wait! And there are even more pictures that I didn't post! I'm obsessed! :) Trissy did such an amazing job.. you wouldn't even know it by these pictures but Berklee was pretty grumpy the whole time! She was so patient and just snapped at the right moments! Thank you thank you thank you Trissy! I looove them!

getaways

We have been so lucky to go a couple great getaways in the past month!

Over conference weekend we met my family up at my aunt and uncles cabin in Oakley after I finished working on Saturday and had a blast riding 4-wheelers, talking, playing games, yummy dutch oven dinner and just being together! The girls got to go on about a 2 hour 4-wheeling ride while the boys watch the kiddos! My mom and Sarah Jane headed back while Tiff and Ash showed me where they had gone the day before.. we had so much fun wheelin and going over huge jumps ;)

And this past weekend we were able to go to St. George for a much needed longer getaway! Me, my mom and Aunt were talking a couple months ago and wanted to get tickets to Tarzan that was playing at Tuacahn and decided it was going to be a girls night out to see the show plus my brother Cade that loves anything Disney! But it worked out nice cuz we had a personal photographer to take all of our group shots! The show was AMAZING and of course the music was awesome!! I had so much fun with my mom, sister-in-laws and Aunt (and Cade)! My husband seriously is thee best to let me have my me time with the girls! And of course he got his time on the green with the boys the next day! :)

The rest of the weekend consisted of food, shopping and visiting! I seriously love St. George! I have grown up going there for these amazing little getaways and I hope they will always continue! Berklee did so great with the drive and the first night was the only rough one! :) St. George is the perfect distance for traveling! Can't wait to go back soon!

6 months old... seriously!

Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was looking at this face

We love our little Berklee so much! She has such a fun personality and overall is such a happy girl! She is learning and growing so quickly and I just can't get enough of each stage! She still loves food and pretty sure she already realizes how much better big people food is than her own.

When anyone tries to guess her age they always say 9 months! Yes she is wearing 9 month clothes but she's only 6 months! :) She has leaned out in the tummy area but she just keeps growing like a weed!

The doctor says she is just doing so great and is doing everything a normal 6 month would do... So all you people out there that try and hold her and she starts to cry cuz she wants her mommy... that is normal! :) Stranger danger!

She got three more shots plus the flu shot and she has to go back next month for the booster flu shot! Sad day.. but mommy and daddy get to get our flu shot then too so we can go thru the pain with her. :(

No not me.. I'm not the one expecting twins (but wouldn't that be exciting)

no my brother Cade and his wife Tiffany are expecting!! We couldn't be more thrilled about it... they are expecting April 3rd but Tiff has told us that her doctor won't let her go past 38 weeks so sometime in March we'll be welcoming twins to our family! And to add to that excitement my other brother Jake and his wife Sarah Jane are expecting also! They are expecting April 8th! So come April next year my parents grandchildren will be doubling!!! I am so so excited for all of this... right around the time Berklee is one I will have 3 newborns in my life and I will be able to have my newborn fix! :)

The day Cade and Tiff found out they were having twins the boys had planned to go golfing and the girls were getting together to watch a chick flick... well I had talk to Tiff earlier in the day and she had said she was going to lunch with her mom and sister but I could pick her up and go over to Ashleys after.. so the time was getting closer to leaving and Tiff tells me "hey I'm going to go with my mom over to my grandmas so I'll meet ya over there".. okay no big deal! So she gets over to Ashley's and I ask her "how was lunch and your grandmas?" and she says "welllll.... I actually didn't go" my first thought was well geez Tiff you didn't need to lie to me I don't care that you didn't drive over with me :) and then she proceeds to tell us that she was at the doctors and that she is expecting! Me and Ashley both just start screaming and congratulating and then Tiff says AND its twins! Me and Ashley both tear up and were so so excited for her! Tiff was just going to stay for dinner and then she was going to head up to my parents so her and Cade could tell them and right away me and Ashley were like "we're coming!" We hurried and came up with an idea to put on our babies onesies that "I'm getting 3 cousins in April" (for Tiff's twins and Sarah Jane's little one) we kept saying that my parents are going to think me or ash are preg too cuz who would really think that someone was having twins! Anyways... it was such a fun reveal even though we waited around till 10 pm for my mom to get home (which my dad was wondering the whole time what the heck is going on cuz my kids don't stay this late especially me and ash cuz we have our babies and like to put them to bed.. but we kept them up and it was so worth it)

I am so excited for Tiff and Sarah Jane! How fun to have 3 cousins just a few weeks apart! Makes me kinda want to get preg fast so my little one can play with them too! ;) yeah right!

Is it just me or does Berklee do everything a month or so before most babies...

She is already sitting by herself and she's only 5 months old!

I've even just decided to bag the car seat and put her up front with me!! :)

juuuuuust kidding!! well sorta... I hadn't pulled my car all the way into the garage (we have a detached garage) and so I wanted to go move it in before Jesse got home so he could pull in. Now did you really want me to put Berklee into her car seat for a 2 second drive?? and don't worry I had my hand on her the whole drive!! I don't think anyone can really say much about this cuz I remember driving home from church on my dad's lap!!!

She's not standing by herself just yet at least ;) but all she wants you to do all day long is help her stand.

Me and my mom had walked outside by their pool and Berklee was like diving for the pool! So we had to take her pants off and at least dip her feet in. She is such a water baby! :)

I'm not going to lie.. I thought about putting up a countdown for these two dates thats how excited I am! Many of you know my obsession for my tv shows but these 3 show are my absolute favorite!

Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice both air Sept 23rd!!! I would have to say Grey's is my fav fav fav favorite!

And OTH airs Sept 14th! All I can say is thank goodness they are doing another season because with that season finale there's no way they could have ended that way!

No need to make fun of me for loving my shows my husband gives me enough of that :) But honestly.. watch these from the beginning and you will looove them too! I talk about the characters like they are my best friends. I cry with them, laugh with them and I even scream at them when they make dumb decision! Oooh how I've missed you Christina, Meredith, McDreamy and McSteamy (Greys), Addison, Pete, Naomi and Cooper (Private Practice) and Brooke, Haley, Nathan and cute cute Jamie Scott (OTH). I can't wait to be a part of your lives again, please don't disappoint me! :)

Did I really need to worry that she wasn't going to like solid foods... I don't think so! I think I'm convinced that this girl loves any kind of food! :) I love it.. it makes it so fun to feed her but lets just hope it stays this way!

I started her first with some oatmeal in the mornings and she seemed to like it okay... but once I started giving her sweet potatoes and corn and things like that she went crazy and she now dives for the spoon! I'm so happy that Berklee is growing and eating so great! I just love this girl!

I absolutely love going to the doctor because I love hearing how well Berklee is doing, what I can do better and what things I can start to do! The doctor told us if we look at the charts and look at where Berklee is then Berklee is sizing to be an average 8 month old! haha. All I can do is laugh, I love love love that Berklee is so big and healthy, I love that she is learning things that most 4 month olds don't normally learn or do, I love that she is sturdy enough in one arm and I don't have to worry about her heading bobbling everywhere, I love that she loves to eat and I don't need to worry about her weight gain or give her extra formula or anything like that, and mostly I absolutely love that she is mine!

She loves her toes, hands and voice! She loves rolling and sitting (not sitting by herself quite yet but she's getting stronger). She loves sleeping. And again, and I don't really need to tell ya cuz it shows, but she loves eating!

We can start her on some solid foods and oatmeal and I can't wait to see if she likes that stuff as much as she likes her mommy's milk.

Yes, shots are sad.. but Berklee is awesome! She cried just until I just picked her up and then she was just fine! One tough girl! :)

Name that sound..???

I don't know if anyone watches Funniest Home Videos anymore but they have this segment on there called name that sound, and the people listen to the sound first and try and guess what is making the noise. Well I think we should send this video in because we've gotten told Berklee sounds like all sorts of things... raptors, birds etc..

What do you think she sounds like??

(sorry for the fussiness too... I always seem to get my camera out a little to late and she starts to get fussy when the whole time before she is so happy!)

About a week or so ago Jesse got Berklee laughing... it was and is SO dang cute!!!

We are having so much fun with our little girl! She just keeps growing and growing! We have loved being parents and can't wait to keep watching Berklee grow and our other children (when they come.. and no that is not an announcement)

Some things Berklee loves:

growing (I have no control over that and its sad)

rolling (already! I know.. just after her 3 month birthday she rolled over for her first time)

smiling (lovin every smile I get)

swimming (this girl is a water baby! She just squeals and kicks constantly and guess what... I even dunked her under the water... so COOT I need to get a pic of it)

standing up (you try and sit her on her lap and she pushes her legs into you until you stand her back up)

her fingers (they are CONSTANTLY in her mouth.. we think she is in the beginning stages of teething)

her voice (as you can tell by the first video.. she LOVES to hear herself)

laughing (mostly for her daddy.. she has laughed a couple time with me but she mostly just laughs with Jesse)

her jumper (maybe I wouldn't say she loves loves it but its nice for my arms to get a break from holding her up constantly)

and of course

her mommy and daddy

I'm sure there is more but thats all I can think of right now!

Tummy Time

This girl has started getting lots and lots of tummy time just because she loves her new trick... rolling over! As soon as she's on the ground she is on her tummy but just as quickly as she's on her tummy she's just as quickly upset because then she can't do anything.. so, very rarely do I catch these faces while she's on tummy time :)

(she does seem to kick and kick tons trying to figure out how to get places when she is on her tummy... but I don't want to think of my baby crawling already) :(

And I just need to add this cute pic of Jesse and Berklee. Last week I had a soccer game at 9:25 (right at Berklee's last feeding time) and its my own fault but we haven't given her a bottle consistently since I stopped working saturdays back in May... anyways, long story short my sister in law comes to the side and yells into me that Berklee is screaming and nothing is calming her down! There was 2 min. left in the game and let me just say it was the longest 2 min. I ran off the field and raced up to my parents where Jesse just decided to stay instead of trying to come to my soccer game. Jesse then explained that she wanted NOTHING to do with the bottle and then it was like she got so upset about that and then the tiredness kicked in and so there was no consoling her. Poor daddy and baby! So, I made it my job this past week to get her to eat out of a bottle and guess what....

What a great morning...

This morning I woke up before Berklee... I know I know when she sleeps I should sleep but I just had things to do! So I was upstairs with the monitor on when I hear her beginning to toss and turn. Then it turns to cooing and squealing and I can only imagine there is some smiles to go along with it. Honestly, I think I have the best job in the world... what could be better than going to get this girl from bed and all you have say is hi to her and this is what you get...

We swaddle her at night with this swaddler that velcro's (greatest invention in the world) and I think it is both me and Jesse's favorite thing to see her stretch when you undo it. Her whole body arches, her lips pucker out and arms stretch clear above her head.

Like I said... what a great morning!

I sure do love this girl and am so grateful that I get to be her mommy!

but mostly... I LOVE FIREWORKS!!

If you know me well I've probably told you this before but I would love fireworks at my funeral. Not to talk about death or anything but instead of sadness at my funeral how awesome would it be to celebrate my life and have a big firework show! :) anyways.....

4th of July! What an amazing holiday, not only does it have fireworks but its the celebration of our Independence and freedom! I am so grateful to live in such a wonderful country! And I am so grateful for my husband who serves in the military and his dedication and service he gives to this country!

This year we went up cottonwood canyon with Jesse's family to have breakfast and see the parade... it was so much fun for everyone but especially the little kids and I can't wait til Berklee can join in with the parade!

Then we got to head up to my parents for a fun bbq, swimming and fireworks at eaglewood golf course. Jesse's family was able to come join in on the fun and we had a blast swimming, eating and talking! This year was my very first year not going up to eaglewood to see the fireworks, instead we hung back at my parents and got up on the roof and watched the fireworks from there. Lets just say 2 min. into the firework show I was bummed I didn't go up to the golf course! Part of the fun is hearing those loud fireworks and laying right underneath them and seeing them light up the whole sky. I plan to go up there next year and hopefully Berklee gets my love for fireworks!

a week of Jackson Hole!

Jackson Hole 2010

This past week Jesse, Berklee and I were able to go up to Jackson Hole with all of Jesse's family! We stayed a Colter Bay which is just about 45 min outside of Jackson! We stayed in a little one bedroom cabin and it was so much fun! Jackson Hole is a family trip tradition with the Palmers and we go every year! The boys got to fish, the girls got to chat and the kids got to play in the cold cold lake (they didn't seem to mind that it was cold though). I love this trip so much because it is so different from my family trips.. I mean we did go camping occasionally growing up but I wasn't even much of a camper or fisher or anything like that before I met and became a Palmer, so it is nice to have the different traditions from different families! This year was much much different than last year due to our recent bundle of joy. We weren't able to do as much but it actually was very relaxing being able to just hang out rather than running place after place! Berklee did awesome the first night and then it was all downhill from there, but I think if we were at home we could have let her fuss in bed and go back to sleep but seeing as we were in the same room as her we couldn't stand it so we had to get up at 3 AM most nights :) but she sure was one happy camper at 3 in the morning chatting away and squealing! Hard to be mad at that girl when she is so dang cute! But other than the nights she was a trooper... getting put in her car seat constantly I thought it was going to be much worse. I'm glad we are getting her use to little trips here and there cause Jesse and I always need a little get away.

Caitlin and Joseph are working as river guides this year so we were able to meet up with them in town and grab some ice cream and see them! They will be gone until the middle of August :(

The boys loved playing in the lake! It was seriously freezing and the older boys minded much more the the little boys! Little Henry screamed when his dad was taking him out cause he loved it so much but man was he shaking when he got out! :)

So I got out of the shower and found this... now where am I suppose to sleep!!

After the long long drive we were about 20 min away from home and I look back to see the cutest thing ever! Berklee slept the whole way up to Jackson and the whole way back but I can't get enough of this girl.. even when she is sleeping she does the cutest things!

Don't you just want to kiss those big chunky cheeks and big big lips!

And after we got home we got her in her bath (we did give her a bath in Jackson don't worry, it was just in a tiny sink so it wasn't her usual) and she was so excited to have her bath back and be able to kick and splash and talk! What a happy girl we have!!

It was such a fun trip and I cannot wait to go back next year and hopefully Berklee will be walking and will enjoy it a little more (and sleep a little better.. cross your fingers). Thanks mom and dad Palmer for the amazing week! We love you!

Yesterday was my sister-in-law Sacha's birthday!

(she's going to kill me but she turned the big 3-0!)

Me and Jesse got to go up to Heber and spend the night with Marshal, Sacha and their boys! We had a yummy bbq, the boys got to hang out outside by the grill while us girls got to sit inside with our babies and have girl talk!

They have the cutest kids ever and I'm sad I didn't get a pic of Charlie before he went down for bed but Owen and Henry had a blast blowing out the candles with Sacha and then Henry just dove right in :)

We have such a fun time hanging out with them and I love having another sister around to have girl talk with! Sacha is seriously one of the cutest girls! She is so outgoing and friendly and I felt so welcomed by her when I came into the family! You can always talk to her about anything and she is always willing to listen! She is such a good mom to her boys and such a good wife! We love you Sacha! Happy Birthday!
