Happy Due Date!

alright little girl... the floating baby ticker says zero days to go!

40 weeks!!

I will have my appointment tomorrow to see if there's been any change and then I have a stress test on Thursday that they have me come in for about 25-60 min. to listen to the heart beat and check the fluid level to make sure everything is looking okay and if anything is not normal they can just send me downstairs to induce me. :) I'm not getting my hopes up though! I will however be induced FOR SURE on the 6th of April if she doesn't come on her own, but I will keep you all posted! yay for baby.. I can't wait to meet her!!!!

SINGLE DIGITS!

9 days to go!!!

38 weeks and 5 days!

My appointment on Wednesday was SO exciting... 1 cm dilated, 80% effaced and -3! The only thing that had changed from the previous appointment was 50% effaced to 80% so at least something is happening! :)

Now she can officially come. Me and my mom drove down to Orem (since Jesse was at work) to pick up our car seat and stroller from Babies R Us since the one literally up the street from us was completely out.. and seeing as I'm a week and a half away we thought humm might be a good idea to have her car seat so IF she comes early we can take her home from the hospital! Well after getting it home, me and Jesse ripped it open later that night to find that one of the wheels had put a hole right through the fabric of the stroller.. bummer! So being the excited couple we are and just wanting to set up our stroller and car seat we drove back down Orem for my second time that day and exchanged it and before leaving the store we opened it to make sure everything looked okay! Setting it up was so much fun and now that we have it all set up we don't want to fold up the stroller.. we just keep it up so we can look at it.. its so cute!!!! (now all it needs is a cute little girl in there!) (sorry for not getting a real pic of it.. my battery died on my camera)

My last day of work was Thursday and it was bitter sweet... sweet because I know the day is so close to meet this little girl and bitter because I have absolutely LOVED where I work and the people I work with. My bosses seriously are the best, they took the afternoon off just to take me and the rest of the office to lunch and we were supposed to go bowling but they didn't want to put me into labor so they said they would pay for the whole office to go to a movie.. my choice! Too bad there are absolutely no good movies out but lunch was enough for me! Luckily I will always be on their sub list and I'll still get invited to all the cool office parties so I'll be able to see them... They already have me booked for 2 days in July to work :) I know most people don't love working but I really have loved working there... Its a family oriented office and not only have the doctors I work for taught me tons and tons about dentistry but they really have shown me how important family and serving others is! If anyone needs a dentist.. GO THERE! :)

So now that I'm not working and I think I've done every bit of laundry possible I just need this little girl to get here... but in the mean time if anyone is bored during the day or wants to go to lunch.. you know who to call :)

1 YEAR!

3/14/09
6 billion people in the world. 6 billion souls. And sometimes, all you need is one.

Whaaaaat... 1 year already! Thats what both of us had to say to each other! I can't believe its been a whole year.. it just seems like yesterday we got engaged and March seemed sooo far away! I have loved loved loved being married and me and Jesse say everyday to each other that its weird to think back to when we weren't married or even knew each other. I can't imagine my life without my amazing husband! And just to prove how amazing he is.... we wanted to celebrate our anniversary together going out to dinner on saturday night since the real day was sunday, so... I had worked all day long and am only 2 1/2 weeks away from my due date so I haven't been the most comfortable but to add to all that I had a migraine creeping up on me. We finished dinner at Tepanyaki (our favorite restaurant) and were driving home and my headache just wasn't seeming to go away. Now for those that know know me I get headaches all the time but this was not like any of those headaches that I can just keep working through or play off... so we got home and started watching a movie and Jesse massaged my shoulders and neck trying to get rid of this headache. But by the end of the movie Jesse was out cold and I was trying so hard to fall asleep (yes I know.. lame old married couple) well I didn't sleep one hour the whole night and by 3 am I was ready to chop off my head and replace it... Well, along with my migraines usually comes sickness so at 3 am there I am over the toilet (sorry for those that have a weak stomach) and there Jesse was up with me cleaning up after me. And the whole time I'm saying no no no I'll get it I'll get it and he was having nothing of it. He sat me back down on the couch, wrapped me up in 2 blankets (I was shivering), got me water and anything else I needed and cleaned up after me! He sat up with me the whole night and just listened to me cry and moan :( my poor hubby.. what a great way to spend your anniversary right! :) I can't say it enough how much I love Jesse, I think we say to each other 40 times a day that we love each other but I never get sick of saying it or hearing it! I can't wait for the years to come with him and just hope we don't spend every anniversary like this one ;)
