1 YEAR!

3/14/09
6 billion people in the world. 6 billion souls. And sometimes, all you need is one.

Whaaaaat... 1 year already! Thats what both of us had to say to each other! I can't believe its been a whole year.. it just seems like yesterday we got engaged and March seemed sooo far away! I have loved loved loved being married and me and Jesse say everyday to each other that its weird to think back to when we weren't married or even knew each other. I can't imagine my life without my amazing husband! And just to prove how amazing he is.... we wanted to celebrate our anniversary together going out to dinner on saturday night since the real day was sunday, so... I had worked all day long and am only 2 1/2 weeks away from my due date so I haven't been the most comfortable but to add to all that I had a migraine creeping up on me. We finished dinner at Tepanyaki (our favorite restaurant) and were driving home and my headache just wasn't seeming to go away. Now for those that know know me I get headaches all the time but this was not like any of those headaches that I can just keep working through or play off... so we got home and started watching a movie and Jesse massaged my shoulders and neck trying to get rid of this headache. But by the end of the movie Jesse was out cold and I was trying so hard to fall asleep (yes I know.. lame old married couple) well I didn't sleep one hour the whole night and by 3 am I was ready to chop off my head and replace it... Well, along with my migraines usually comes sickness so at 3 am there I am over the toilet (sorry for those that have a weak stomach) and there Jesse was up with me cleaning up after me. And the whole time I'm saying no no no I'll get it I'll get it and he was having nothing of it. He sat me back down on the couch, wrapped me up in 2 blankets (I was shivering), got me water and anything else I needed and cleaned up after me! He sat up with me the whole night and just listened to me cry and moan :( my poor hubby.. what a great way to spend your anniversary right! :) I can't say it enough how much I love Jesse, I think we say to each other 40 times a day that we love each other but I never get sick of saying it or hearing it! I can't wait for the years to come with him and just hope we don't spend every anniversary like this one ;)

7 months and only 7 weeks to go!

I think people can officially stop saying.. "you're barely showing!"

Only 7 weeks to go! I can't even believe it! I know its still a while but when you say it in weeks and you are in the single digits it just sounds so much better. Things are still going great.. I've started to feel the beginning stages of some contractions (so my doctor says), my stomach gets hard as a rock and I'll start to feel some pain in my lower stomach! I know its nothing compared to the real thing but its still something :) I get more and more excited every day to meet this little girl and its gotten me even more excited when Jesse and I went to register for some things.. baby stuff is just so cute! Baby showers are about to begin so I can't even wait!

CRUD!

Oh how I've missed this game....

let me share just a few reasons of why I LOVE this game so much...

-the pain I now feel on my thighs from reaching across the pool table to reach the white ball
-the high pitch screams done by mostly the girls when they miss the ball 3 times in a row
-the shoving and cheating done (even to the pregnant one) :)
-the gathering of my family all around the pool table
-the exercise (seriously.. you wouldn't think just running around a pool table would make you sweat but it does)
-the yuuuhhhhh's that happen after getting the colored ball into a pocket
-but mostly... the laughter!

We were at my parents house this past week celebrating the January birthdays in my family (Happy Birthday Tyler and Tiff) when my mom had asked if we all wanted to play a game. Jesse then said you know what game we haven't played forever and it was the first game I played with you guys when he had met my family.... CRUD! And the game was decided just like that! My family used to play this game EVERY time we got together and honestly I think it has been a year since we've played! So, we all gathered around the table and Ty was the only one that hadn't played so we needed to explain... HA and that was a task... try having 8 people explain something to you at the same time :) we got it done though and began and let me just tell you it was as fun as I remember! :) I just hope its not another year until we play it again!

5 1/2 months!!!

*5 1/2 months*
I really can't believe I'm almost 6 months pregnant! I had the cutest experience the other day at work... my patients 3 year old little girl had asked her if she could have a brother and sister and I just started laughing and said "you can be friends with my little girl" as I held my tummy and the little girl said okay well where is she.. and her mom said oh her baby probably won't be here for what another 6 months? I very quickly corrected her saying oh no I've been pregnant for 6 months.. please don't put another 6 months on me! :) My patient couldn't believe it! But I look down and see this huge stomach and know that this is just the beginning.. by the end I'm going to be really HUGE! ugh...
My first ultra sound I had at about 19 weeks was when we first found out we were having a girl.. but taking after her parents she was pretty stubborn and wouldn't let us see her face and crown of her head (which they like to check her brain and lips and things like that) so darn it we had to go back a few weeks later to see our cute little girl again. The second time was amazing.. the second her picture popped up on the screen she arched her back and we just saw her spine perfectly! Everything looks normal and they were able to get to see her brain and lips and everything she wouldn't let them see the first time, so good my daughter has a brain :) I am so grateful for a healthy little girl and so grateful and amazed by the technology they have to make sure she is doing alright in there. They said she is measuring 3 days early.. but I'm defiantly not getting my hopes up! My pregnancy is still going great, although I did have my first experience a few weeks ago of heartburn and oh.... my...... gosh..... I thought I was going to die! I have never had heartburn before and so when it started I did not know what was going on and I was asking everyone at work what was going on and what I could do... all they could say back to me was "there's nothing you can do" and "this is just the beginning of heartburn for you!" OH GREAT! Oh well I guess I need to have at least one symptom of pregnancy while I'm pregnant right! :)

So you think you can dance... dance.... dance!!!!

So for my birthday back in August my mom got me tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance concert! Let me just tell you that we LOVE this show and I was so so happy to see them continuing the season right away this fall instead of waiting until next summer. I love dance and this show has some amazing dancers and choreographers that make this show so entertaining and fun to watch. This season even had a girl from Utah in it, Randy, and she made it all the way to the top 10! She was able to go on tour with a lot of the other favorite dancers like Phillip, Kayla, Janette, Brandon, Kupono, Jason and the winner of season 5, Jeanine!

Me and my mom started off the evening with going to dinner at my ALL TIME FAVORITE restaurant....

Tepanyaki!
They cook the food right in front of you.. and it is AMAZING food!! mmm

*My favorite routine of season 5... Kupono and Kayla - Addiction*

*Brandon and Jeanine - Battlefield*

So for those of you who watch the show you probably remember that awful dance Jeanine and Phillip did together, the Russian folk dance, well... it was the joke of the night! Everytime they brought up dances from around the world out would run Jeanine and Phillip and they would begin their routine. The other dancers that were talking on stage at the time would always yell "STOP.. STOP.. STOP" and send them right off the stage and both Jeanine and Phillip would have the sad look on their face... so funny!

*Jason and Kayla - Zombie*

*Top 3 girls*

Well after coming out about 3 times during other people talking, Jeanine and Phillip finally got out there to dance. They began their Russian folk dance routine when out walked the rest of the top 10 in the same outfits :) They did a little of the routine when the music changed and off came the shirts on the guys and the girls skirts got ripped off with shorter skirts underneath.

It actually was a pretty cool dance.. if only Jeanine and Phillip would have had that dance instead of the one they had on the show :)

*Brandon and Jeanette*

*Jason and Jeanine - Heart dance*

*group dances*

*Phillip's solo.. so awesome*

*Jeanine and Brandon - Paso doble*

*Ade and Melissa - Breast Cancer*

*Final performance*

This concert was so much fun to go to! I hope I can go again for the season 6 dancers... so far they are amazing dancers as well! Thanks mom for the amazing birthday gift! :)
